It is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language fictional spy thriller film directed by – ShantanuBagchi. Producer of the movie is Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film is a fictional story of India’s covert operation, taking place before and; during the Indo Pakistan of 1971.
Mission Majnu is said- to explore the events that transformed the politics between India and its neighboring nation in the 1970s. Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandana starrer Mission Majnu will be release on 19th January 2023 exclusively on Netflix. The movie also casts Kumud Mishra, Mir Sarwar, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi and Zakir Hussain in pivotal roles.

Review
Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, the 1970s-set film features Malhotra as an Indian intelligence agent; who leads a covert operation on Pakistani soil. Malhotra, whose last release was the comedy Thank God, said he is looking forward to the release of the movie. The trailer begins with an official pleading to the Prime Minister of the country to locate a nuclear site in Pakistan. Parmeet Sethi further in the trailer advises to acquire information about the same using a covert operative. The trailer then sees the entry of Sidharth Malhotra who is an undercover agent. He travels to various locations to provide vital information to the officials of India. Rashmika Mandana is seen playing the wife of Sidharth Malhotra.

Sidharth Malhotra is a good actor of bollywood. He has made many hit movies like Shershaah, Marjhawan and many more movies. He began his career as a fashion model, but left it to pursue an acting career. Malhotra had his first acting role in 2009 in the television serial Dharti ka Veer Yodha PrithviRaj Chauhan. Here he played the small role of Jaichand.

The spy thriller will deliver an untold story of India’s most fearless and daring covert operation that was conduct in the heart of Pakistan. The trailer presents Sidharth as a RAW agent who enters Pakistan to find the neighbouring country’s nuclear capability and; whether they are planning a bomb with India as its target. Somewhat like Raazi, Sidharth falls in love with a Pakistani woman and marries her to facilitate his identity in the country and create his cover. He is a tailor by the day and a superspy at night in service of India.
