The Chokkanathaswamy Temple

Shivoham Shiva Temple

The temple in Bengaluru- completed in 1995 and consists of 32 feet high Ganesha idol and a 25 feet high Shiva Linga. The temple complex contains a marvellously constructed statue of Lord Shiva; with the Holy Ganga flowing out of his matted locks. The statue of Lord Shiva stands at 65 feet and sits inside a man-made pool of water; that is a replica of Mount Kailash (Shiva’s natural habitat).
